Brief description of clinical duties:
Maintenance of good nurse patient relationship, assess the physical & mental condition of the patient, check the vital signs of the patient every forth hour along with date and time record, collection of specimens, management of intravenous fluids, administer medication on time, E.C.G., blood transfusion, Catheterization, bladder wash, Nebulization, Oxygen administration, steam inhalation, application of center venous pressure & monitoring of CVP, Suturing & Suture removal, dressing of minor & major wounds, hot & cold application, hygienic care like nail, hair, mouth & skin care, tracheotomy care of the patients, educate patient about diet.

Maintains the highest possible standards of patient care at all times, performs professional nursing duties relating to the treatment and welfare of patients under the supervision of the head nurse, foster good patient/nurse relationship, accompanies attending doctors on ward rounds and implement treatment as required, monitors and evaluates nursing care plan, check controlled drugs at each shift in accordance with the hospital policies, maintain patients records and respects patients privacy and confidentiality, knowledgeable in assisting doctors in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
