Presently working at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, since June 1991, as Medical Secretary in the Department of Surgery. During this period I have worked for the Chairman of the department and other services viz. General Surgery, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Pediatric Surgery.
ADMINISTRATIVE WORK EXPERIENCE:
Dealing with Under-graduate Student affairs:
? Coordinating and assisting in conducting OSCE / VIVA End of Term Professional (MBBS Phase II) Exam for ENT.
? Computation / preparation of MBBS Phase-II (ENT) Results.

? I have introduced a new trend in the Department of Surgery of Compiling Data "Elective/Emergency Cases done in Operating Room (OR) / Surgery Day Care (SDC) and Mortality" (surgeon wise) for each service (viz. General Surgery, Orthopedic, Urology, Pediatric Surgery, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiac Surgery). Submit every month to the Chairman of the Department.
? Compilation of Monthly Data "Surgeon & Service wise OR & SDC cases done and hours utilized". Submit every month to the Chairman, Department of Surgery.
? Compilation of Monthly Data for Faculty Evaluation "Elective, Add-on/Emergency, SDC and Clinical Services" (Number of OR sessions, Number of Allocated Hours, Number of Utilized Hours, Number of cases, Duration per case. Number of Clinical sessions per week, Total clinical sessions, New patients seen, Follow-up patients, Brief/Procedures, No charge, Total patients seen in Consulting Clinic and in Community Health Center).
? Preparing and keeping record of Morbidity for Pediatric Surgery.
? Preparing and keeping record of Morbidity for ENT-Head and Neck Surgery.
In addition to my above responsibilities, I also do the following day to day activities and in absence of Admin Officer of the department, I had also entrusted acting Admin Officer's responsibility.

During this period I have been assigned to different Departments viz. Marine, Oil Terminal, Loss Prevention, Industrial Security, Office Services etc. I come across lot of American & Saudi officers viz David Miller, Rodney Soomner, Jerald Kennedy, Ali Tawlah, Ibrahim Jaffar, Saleh Al Ghamdi and grasps good amount of experiences of different jobs.
It is noteworthy that on recognition of my good performance I was promoted to higher grade 28, effective November 1, 1990, but due to family circumstances I left ARAMCO, on September 12, 1990.
